In the past article published in The Water Well Journal (May
1994). Paul Horick interviewed several consultants and drilling companies
concerning the importance of relationships they must share with each other.
When the interviews were summarized and analyzed, both consultants and
drilling companies concluded: "Experience, Flexibility, and Service are
what quality drilling companies are made of." Both sides must embrace
identical goals in order to provide proper communication, especially at the
beginning, as Horick states "Site Investigation and Remediation project
require a great deal of cooperation between consultants and drilling
companies. It is essential if a project is to run smoothly and maintain the
highest quality at a reasonable cost." Furthermore, the drilling company
must have strong administrative support and leadership, allowing it to adjust
to nearly any possible situation, at a minimum amount of cost and
frustration.
