Initial Site Assessment for residential, industrial, and agricultural parcels for new State Route 65 in Sutter County, California.

APEX conducted site reconnaissance surveys, reviews of maps and aerial photographs, reviews of historical site documentation, and regulatory agency data sheet searches. A comprehensive list of records and historical sources were examined and property users interviewed.

We then prepared a report of potential source of contamination, sites maps for each parcel, and recommendations for investigative soil borings. Site specific future work was recommended based on known contamination, usage of UST's, and the potential to cause neighboring site contamination via migration.

Caltrans Leased Property, 905 Doran Street, Glendale, CA, Property Transfer

APEX investigated a site that a construction company had occupied for the previous twenty years. APEX determined that the areas of concern at the site included: three underground storage tanks, one aboveground tank, one transformer, 23 drums containing unknown product, several consumer-commodity products, miscellaneous products, and 27 empty drums.

APEX submitted a work plan and health and safety plan for the site. Proper samples were taken and tests were performed. After the receipt of the analytical reports, APEX prepared a report of the findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
